Two Down, A Million To Go!!
With our second
TATPIYN Festival in the history books, we've come to the
conclusion that this is something that we will be doing forever - and that's
not a threat, it's a promise!!!
This time around, it came to resemble
more the festival of our dreams than the rock-and-roll hoochie koo that we gave
you the first time. In all, over 75 participants got up and sang, danced,
mused, entertained, awed and amazed. Bands and DJs schmoozed, Neighbors
visited, artists shared, and the streakers removed their clothing. Love like
that hasn't been seen since 1968 San Francisco.
Speaking of the Bay
Area, TATPIYN held our very first festival on
the Neighborhood to a new level of understanding and really got the people on
their blocks to come out and celebrate. It was truly fun for the whole family.
pages.
We're very proud of our accomplishments - especially of
having brought together a variety of people with a variety of tastes and
pleasures and mixing them in a bouillabaise called TATPIYN. Bands
came from San Francisco and Boston for the occasion. Support came in from so
many unlikely sources such as RockHill Bakery (check them out at T Square Park
on the Weekends), Shawn Palmer who designed this website, Nicole and Yolanda
who made all the decorations, Rocky who let us take over his establishment,
Gotham TV who found us worthy of coverage, and so many more that it's
impossible to mention everyone.
