Swap 'Til You Drop
What an idea...finally a place to put those old cowboy boots that
are stashed away at the bottom of your closet. Somewhere to throw your old
Japanese pornos, your Kenny G CD, your bathing suit that you’ll fit into
“one day - someday.”
THESE ARE THE PEOPLE IN YOUR
NEIGHBORHOOD kicked off their first festival on October 15th with a
clothing swap. Give them a token donation and you would receive a ticket for
which you could then rummage through all the vintage clothing, CDs, books and
pornos your greedy little hands could handle.
So what were people
walking away with on October 15th? Everything from silver shaped star glasses
to fuzzy faux fur jackets. And as for the pornos…? Although I didn’t
personally see the quick disappearance, rumor has it that all the pornos were
the first items to have vanished from the SWAP. Go figure... |
